The visit itself
What an unhurried visit includes
Before your visit
You get a written confirmation before the visit. A short timeline of your symptoms is especially helpful, and if you are coming about headaches, our printable headache diary shows the pattern in a month.
During your visit
A first visit runs a full 60 minutes: enough time to tell the whole story, a complete examination, and a conversation about what we think and why. You leave with a written plan, prescriptions go to your pharmacy the same day, and you will never feel a hand on the doorknob. You can read what the examination checks before you come.
After your visit
You are not on your own afterward. Tests are arranged near you, and every result is explained to you rather than left in a portal. Follow-ups are usually every one to three months, and messages between visits are answered within 1 business day. After each visit you also get a superbill, the itemized receipt you send your insurer to claim money back.

Routine bloodwork can be drawn anywhere. The tests that actually settle a neurological diagnosis are sent to three national reference laboratories, and the results are read with you at your next visit.
