Rapid access when it matters most
An abnormal MRI or new symptoms deserve answers this week, not next quarter. We prioritize new and newly worried MS patients and coordinate imaging and labs without the usual delays.

Tracking progression
Measured at every visit, not just scanned
In the large relapsing MS trials, most disability accumulated slowly, without a relapse and often without a new lesion. A visit that only counts lesions cannot see it. Here, walking and hand function are timed at every visit and cognition is measured across twelve domains at baseline and then yearly, so a change becomes a number, gets confirmed, and is acted on while it is still small.
Timed 25-Foot Walk
Walk 25 feet as quickly and safely as you can, timed, twice. One number for legs, balance, and stamina. A 20% slowing that is still there at the next visit is progression, even when the MRI is unchanged.
Nine-Hole Peg Test
Nine pegs into nine holes and out again, each hand, timed. It tracks the fine hand function that typing, buttons, and cooking depend on, which the walking-weighted EDSS score can miss.
Creyos cognitive assessment
A computerized neuropsychological battery, not a five-minute screen: twelve tasks covering memory, attention, reasoning, planning, and processing speed, scored against norms for your age, plus validated mood, anxiety, and sleep questionnaires, since low mood and poor sleep lower scores in ways that mimic disease. About 30 minutes, in the office or from home.
Baselines are recorded at the first evaluation, alongside the EDSS disability score, so there is always something to compare against. How the first evaluation runs.

We are out-of-network by design, which is what makes 60-minute visits and same-week access possible. You receive a detailed superbill, and most PPO plans reimburse 50-80%, depending on your out-of-network benefits.

Every visit is a full hour with Dr. Ntranos. That is enough time to go through your MRI with you scan by scan, review your history and records properly, and leave with a written plan. Your imaging, infusions, and disease-modifying therapies keep running through your insurance, and we handle the prior authorizations that come with them.
Dr. Ntranos trained in multiple sclerosis and demyelinating disease at Johns Hopkins and Mount Sinai, served as chief resident, and has published peer-reviewed MS research. MS treatment has changed a great deal in the last decade, and he follows that evidence closely, so the therapy you choose together is one you will be comfortable living with for years.
